Food, diets and allergies
If you have any food allergy, we will try our best to accommodate dietary requirements. What food we serve will typically be dictated by the country and region, the event takes place. We will be happy to offer gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options, if you let us know about your allergies or diet restrictions in advance.
Unfortunately due to the involved logistics & up front costs of these events we have a strict no refund and no cancellation policy regardless of circumstance. Please make sure you can make it before you register. If you need to cancel we will happily help you try to find a replacement for your spot, and if we can find one you will be refunded in full minus a service charge of $150. We strongly urge you to buy travel insurance and to be sure you can make it before you book.
Cancellation by Sisterhood Retreats
Sisterhood Retreats reserves the right to cancel any workshop/retreat at any time for any reason, including if there are too few participants, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of travellers is judged by Sisterhood Retreats in our sole discretion to be compromised. In such cases, a refund of payment received by Sisterhood Retreats shall constitute full and final settlement. Sisterhood Retreats is not responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable or non-transferable air OR travel tickets tickets. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Variations & logistics
Our itineraries are designed to take advantage of the best light and the best photographic opportunities. Attendees should allow for flexibility due to changes in weather, traffic, cultural events, local governmental policy changes, or other logistical arrangements deemed necessary by Sif Orellana. The program can therefore be subject to variations, depending mainly on the weather. But don’t worry, there will always be a great plan B as exciting as plan A.
Please make sure you can make it and have read the descriptions throughly before you register.
All workshop/learning retreat attendees are strongly encouraged to carry trip cancellation insurance as well as medical emergency evacuation insurance. If you catch a really severe flue a few days before departure and you don't possess the strength to travel, you would lose your entire investment in the workshop/learning retreat if you didn’t have insurance. Many things happen in life that we don’t expect, and it’s nice to know you have a safety net to protect you, just in case.
Likewise, if you get injured in a remote place and you have emergency evacuation insurance, help will be on the way immediately and it won’t cost a fortune to transport you to a local hospital.
Sif Orellana and Sisterhood Retreats acts only as an agent for the passenger in regard to travel including, but not limited to, sightseeing, meals, transportation, lodging, and all other services whether by railroad, ship, boat, motorcoach, motor car, or aircraft and they assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the trip.
They can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, weather, war, strike, sickness, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, as trip fees provide for arrangements only for the times and locations stated. Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely.
